​Mu Sigma Upsilon

was founded on November 21, 1981 at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, as the FIRST Multicultural Greek Lettered Organization, celebrating the abundance of cultures that comprise our sorority for the last 33 years. The founders were five women determined to establish an organization that brought together not just women of the same background, but all women. It was their limitless vision that enabled these determined women to break down the barriers and build the bridges that connected women from all different parts of the world. Hence, our motto "Mujeres Siempre Unidas," or "Women Always United.

 

The Lazuline Chapter

was established on November 12, 2005 on the campus of Millersville University with the purpose to unite all women regardelss of race, religion or creed, as we strive for academic excellence, while giving back to our community.
